Jack was born on December 13, 1940 in Maysville, KY to the late Adrian and Ruth Stroud. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Dian Harrison Stroud and a daughter, Tammy Driskell.
Jack served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Ft. Benning. After his military service, he worked as a photographer with Civil Service. He and his wife Dian owned and operated Frameworks in Columbus for 30 years. Following their retirement Jack worked with Striffler-Hamby Mortuary as a Funeral Assistant.
Jack was an avid photographer, he also enjoyed NASCAR and watching the Georgia Bulldogs. He loved collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, antique cameras and racing memorabilia. Jack also loved to explore and document his family genealogy and share it with his family members. Over the years he and his son Jay enjoyed going to the races at numerous racing tracks. Jack enjoyed going to look for antiques and going to the flea market with his friend George.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Terri Stroud, his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Bill Bryan, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 3:00 pm in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2:30.
