He was born on March 3, 1961, a son to James Fred Davis and Ola Ann Young Davis. Bud grew up in Columbus, Georgia. He joined the United States Air Force and served from 1981 through 1984. He is the Father of James Davis and Courtney Davis.
Bud enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the VNEA pool league at Players. On Friday evenings you could find him at Players, he was the master of karaoke.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Fred Davis and Ola Young Davis; and Abby Daniel. Survivors include a son; James (Tara) Davis; a daughter Courtney (Duon) Davis; two sisters Tammy Spencer, Debbie Nixon; 3 Grandchildren Evan James Davis, Keely Marie Davis and Duon Adams Jr.
