James Madison Rodgers III

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 3:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, Georgia with Reverend Hank Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery. Family will visit with friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby.

James was born on August 20, 1954 in Oregon to James Madison Rodgers, Jr. and the late Rosemary Ritz Stotler Rodgers. He has been in the Columbus area most of his life where he was a Plumber with Rodgers Morgan Plumbing Co. James enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. James is also preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Dolly Wright and sister, Patricia Lynn Rodgers.

James Madison Rodgers, III leaves his legacy to his two daughters, April Matos and husband Julius, Tabatha Pierik and husband Steve, his father, James Madison Rodgers, Jr. and wife Jean, his sisters, Rosemary Rodgers Dockery and husband Darrell, Eva Marie Rodgers Hart and husband Joseph, and Tina Louise Rodgers Sanderson and husband James, his grandsons, Julyan Madison Matos and Cayden Robert Pierik and numerous other relatives and good friends, his beloved pets, Rocco and Bella.
