James H. Webb

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 09, 2022 in the Edgewood Hall Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Born in Marion County, Georgia, on April 29, 1933, James was the son of the late Aaron Alvin Webb and Hattie Marie Whitman Webb. James proudly served his country in the United States Army for 20 years from 1953 until 1973 before retiring. After retirement from the Army, he went on to work in Civil Service at Fort Benning. James enjoyed farming, mechanics and he was a very generous care giver.

He leaves behind a daughter, Deborah Webb Bellesfield (Johnie F. Johnson); siblings, Jeannie Martin, Joseph Webb (Margie), Annette Monkus (Morris), Miriam Bacon (Lonnie), Marie Carter (Jim), and Glenda Drew (Neal); he also leaves his best friend and confidante, Rhonda Bosewell; a blessing child, Judy Woodham; and Kith and Kin.
