Janet Kay Froberg

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday September 3, 2011 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with Father Gerard Schreck officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends Friday evening, September 2, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Janet was born August 28, 1950 in Dennison, OH, daughter of the late Robert and Clara (Galli) Bonvechio. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church and an administrative assistant for B & B Beverage. Janet loved country music and attending concerts. She also loved watching Auburn Tiger Football, Cottonmouths Hockey, and RedStixx Baseball. We will miss her presence daily, but her memory will live forever in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Froberg was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Bonvechio, and Jerry Bonvechio. Survivors include her son, Doug Froberg and his wife, Danielle; her daughter, Kristin Froberg; one grandchild, Amelia Froberg; one sister Ann Bonvechio; former husband and friend, Dave Froberg and his family, Marian Froberg, Karin Marzano and her husband, David, Cathy Froberg, Cheri Garvin and her husband, William; one sister in law, Jean Bonvechio; one nephew, Greg Bovechio and his wife, Jennifer; one niece, Teresa Bigley and her husband, Nick; one uncle and aunt, Gene and Norma Bonvechio.
