Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday November 25, 2011 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Allen was born May 16, 1960 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Carlton Buford Allen and Annie Ruth Lockwood Allen and was preceded in death by her brother, James Ideal Allen. She was an independent Caregiver and had lived in Columbus all her life.
Survivors include her sisters, Barbara Allen Flowers, Betty Allen Grant, Donna Allen Bussey, her brothers, Carlton Buford Allen, Terry Lee Allen, 8 nephews and 2 nieces.
