

Jean attended Auburn University, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She loved Auburn and remained a devoted Auburn fan throughout her life. After relocating to Columbus, she spent the remainder of her professional career working in marketing and sales.
Jean is survived by her three children, Christian “Bucky” Killebrew and his wife, McKenzie; Faryn Killebrew Hackett and her husband, Jacob; and Zachary Killebrew. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughters, McKyla Killebrew, Maleigh Killebrew, Mattie Killebrew, and Kennedy Hackett.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving parents, James David “JD” Young and Emma Nell “Tiny” Young.
Jean will be remembered by her family for the life she shared with them, her love for Auburn, and the memories that will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren.
A private family service will be held in her memory, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Jean’s honor.
