Funeral services will 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Striffler - Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with a private interment in Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Christopher was born December 29, 1930 in Junction City, KS the daughter of the late John B. Thompson and the late Lula Woodside Thompson. She had lived in Columbus for the past forty eight years.
Mrs. Christopher was a Methodist by faith and a graduate of Columbus Tech with a LPN degree. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Retired Millard P. Christopher.
Survivors include her son, Michael M. Christopher (Gina) of Columbus; two grandchildren, Dawn Cameron (Robbie) and John Christopher (Mistie); five great-grandchildren, Caitlan, C.J., Amanda, Ashley, and Ethan; one great-great-grandchild, Cayden.
