Jeannette Powers Hall, 100, of Fortson, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Jeannette was born on April 21, 1926, in Clinton, Alabama to Mary Pearce and Robert Powers. During her 100 years on this earth, she went through the Great Depression and World War II as well as many other events. She met her husband, Reginald, on a blind date and from there went on to get married and raise 4 children together. She loved the Heavenly Father and her family. We were so blessed to have her with us for many years, and we know that she is now at rest with Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Hall and her children, Steve Hall, Robert (Bobby) Hall and Brenda Hoyt. She is survived by her son, Thomas “Mike” Hall and her grandchildren, Elyse Hall, Jennifer Santiesteban, Kristen Sickles, Jared Hall, Christopher Hall, Michelle Hubbard, Janell Lee, Channing Hoyt and Joshua Hoyt and several great-great grandchildren.
