

Jennifer Michele Moss, age 53, passed away on September 1, 2026, peacefully after a valiant fight against cancer, entering rest surrounded by her loving family. Born February 6, 1973, and raised in Columbus, Jennifer carried herself with a steady, kind-hearted spirit and a quiet bravery that remained evident throughout her life. She earned a Master’s Degree, reflecting a commitment to growth and purpose that shaped the years that followed.
Jennifer served as a Sr. Director with Indeed, where her leadership was marked by diligence, integrity, and care for others. In every role she held, she brought a thoughtful presence and a strength that did not seek attention, yet was deeply felt by those around her.
Jennifer’s love for her family was central to her life. She is survived by her son, Michael Martin; and her grandson, Coen Martin. She is also survived by her father, Michael Moss (Debra Moss); and her siblings, Melissa Taylor, Phillip Floyd, and Stacey Fuss (Jim); along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by Juanita and Ellis Moss, and Dorothy and Tyrus Barfield.
Those who knew Jennifer will remember the warmth of her heart, the courage with which she met life’s hardest days, and the simple joys she embraced—especially as an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will be held with enduring love and respect.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on September 4, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907, US.
