Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday February 12, 2010 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with Reverend Lamar Harper officiating. The family will receive friends today from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Keeble was born January 4, 1924 in Randolph County, AL, son of the late Robert Keeble and Sallie Dollar Keeble. He was a retired furniture salesman, a member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II from 1943 to 1946. He was a Corporal in the Quartermaster Trucking Company, a squad leader of the 345th Unit and was in India, China and crossed the Burma Road.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnelle Keeble, of Columbus, sons, Jeff Keeble of Marietta, GA, Robby Keeble of Birmingham, AL, Don Keeble of Bloomfield Hills, MI, his daughter Sharon Whitehead of Woodstock, GA, 2 sisters, Willene Schrimshire, of Columbus, Julia Parris of Roanoke, AL, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
