John Donald Carlisle

John “Don” Carlisle, age 72, of Warm Springs, Georgia passed away peacefully at his home August 13, 2018. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia.

Don was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, he is the son of John Manford Carlisle and Mary Louise Outlaw Carlisle. He graduated from Jordan High School. Shortly after graduation Don enlisted in the United States Navy. After his service in the Navy he became a printer working locally for Litho-Krome.

Don is preceded in death by his parents and a brother James (Jim) Manford Carlisle.

Survivors include: Three sisters; Cathy Powell, Mary Jane Herring, Carol Sue Carlisle Hardin, a sister in-law Betty Carlisle, and many nieces and nephews.
