A graveside funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Parkhill Cemetery with Pastor Stan Collins officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Mr. Valentino was born on November 6, 1929 in Worchester, Massschusetts. He served his country faithfully in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. After his service in the U.S.Army he opened and operated his own garage repairing transmissions. Mr. Valentino was married to the late Nelda B. Valentino.
He is survived by his son, Dr. Tony T. Valentino and numerous nieces and nephews.
