Jonathan Michael Komiski, age 63, resident of Phenix City, Alabama, died on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his residence. Graveside services are scheduled at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Alabama on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, 11 a.m. with Vincent Weed officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 5-7 p.m.
Mr. Komiski, son of the late Paul Michael Komiski and Frances Moon Komiski, was born June 25, 1952 in Lambsheim, Germany. He was a member of Talbotton United Methodist Church and had worked at Mutex of Columbus for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda G. Komiski of Phenix City, Alabama; one sister, Jan Mitchell and her husband Johnny; sister-in-law, Ellen Wiggins of Box Springs, Georgia, sister-in-law, Mary Weed and her husband Drew of Box Springs, Georgia; brother-in-law, Wanzer Daniel, Jr. of Americus, Georgia, and brother-in-law, Henry Daniel and his wife Donna of Box Springs, Georgia; other relatives and friends.
