Josephine Mobley

Margaret Josephine “Jo” Mobley, 82, of Columbus, GA passed away February 1, 2017 under the watchful care of Gentiva Hospice. The family will welcome guests for visitation Monday, February 6, 2017 in The St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, from 9:30 am until 10:30 am EST followed by a Graveside Service at 11:00 am EST in Main Post Cemetery, Fort Benning, GA. Chaplain Travis Wilson will officiate.

Josephine “Aunt Jo” was born April 24, 1934 in Clio, AL to her late parents Perry and Katie Bullard Faulk. She was a member of Benning Hills Baptist Church where she attended faithfully until her health prevented her from going. Aunt Jo loved to watch the birds in her yard especially the Humming Birds. She loved her family as they also loved her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mobley was also preceded in death by; her husband of 64 years Frank Mobley; two sisters, Flossie Mae Nance and May’tried F. George; four brothers, TA Faulk, Millard Faulk, CL Faulk and Willie B. Faulk. She is survived by; one sister, Grace Hagler; special nephews, Dennis Hagler, Glen Faulk, and Jose Mobley; special niece, Diane Hagler; other family members and many friends.
