“Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold, Her early leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour. The leaf subsides to leaf, So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.” –Robert Frost
Josh Moore unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. He was 29 years young. He was born in Opelika, Alabama on March 19, 1995 to Cathy Davis Moore and James Lee Moore.
He will be remembered for his hazel eyes and contagious laugh that made everyone in the room smile. He helped others in need, before he helped himself. He loved his dogs and found solace in his music and also watching “The Dukes of Hazzard” on TV. He most importantly loved his friends and family. Our best memories of Josh are those of a kind, loving, giving soul who will be missed dearly.
He leaves behind to carry on his memories, his mother, Cathy; his father, James; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Britt David Church Fellowship Hall, 2801 West Britt David Road, Columbus, Georgia on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Paws Humane Society at https://pawshumane.org/ways-to-give/ or to Addiction Alliance of Georgia at https://www.addictionallianceofgeorgia.org/donate
