Mrs. Judith Massey Wickham, age 73, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Judith was born June 20, 1945 in Columbus, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Lee Massey and Beatrice Ruth Parks. She was a graduate of Grady Memorial School of Nursing in Atlanta, Georgia. Judith worked as an RN and eventually started her own business Rehab Advisors, Inc., where she worked until she retired.
She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Wesley Miller/Wilson Sunday School Class, and the St. Paul Prayer Guild. Judith was also a member of the Lemon Tree Garden Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames 17th Century, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Jamestowne Society, and also enjoyed serving the elderly and underprivileged.
Judith is survived by her daughter Laurie Ellen Cole and her husband, Terry Michael Cole, and son Chad Wells and his wife, Hollie LeAnn Wells as well as her five grandchildren; Andrew Massey Cole, William Michael Cole, Olivia Ellen Wells, Abigail Elaine Wells, and Ruthie LeAnn Wells; also, her brother-in-law John Edward Skelton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dozier Neal Wickham and sister, Ruth Massey Skelton.
Services will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Friday, January 18 from 4-6pm and the funeral on Saturday, January 19 at 10:30am. Burial will be immediately following at the Massey Family Cemetery in Ft. Benning, Ga.
