Judy Galbraith

Judy G. Galbraith, 76, of Columbus, GA passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. The family will welcome guests for visitation Thursday, January 19, 2017, 1:00-2:00 pm in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby; 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. Funeral Services start at 2:00 pm in Edgewood Hall followed by a graveside Committal service with The Reverend Michael Reeves officiating. Following the services, attendees are invited to a Celebration of Judy’s Life reception in The Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby.

Judy was born July 27, 1940 in Knoxville, TN to her late parents Herman and Mary Mullins. She was a Baptist by faith. Before her retirement, she was a Secretary, and Representative at The Columbus Postal Credit Union. Judy loved her family as they also loved her dearly. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by; her brother Pete Mullins; nephews Beck Mullins and Mark Mullins; her son Todd Galbraith. Those left to cherish her memories are; her husband of more than 50 years Larry Galbraith of Columbus, Ga; son Monte (Lisa) Galbraith of Columbus, GA; daughter Shelley (Mark) Fenton of Shawnee, KS; grandchildren Carter Galbraith of Athens, GA, Catherine Galbraith of Atlanta, GA, Claire Galbraith of Athens, GA, Coleman Galbraith of Columbus, GA, Taylor Bartel of Shawnee, KS, Nicole (Chris)Howard of Shawnee, KS, Lauren Galbraith of Dublin, GA, and Anna Galbraith of Auburn, AL; great grandchild Christian Howard of Shawnee, KS; brother Don (Joyce) Mullins of Huntsville, AL; nephews Brad and Barry (Susan)Mullins of Huntsville, AL; other family members and special friend Jane Loste-Brown.
