Kareem Amir Mustafaa (formerly known as Carlos V. Poole) passed away on February 27, 2024, in Columbus, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monte G and Ann S Poole (Atlanta, GA). Kareem was born on November 8, 1963, and attended Jessie Mae Jones Elementary, Douglass High School and Lakeshore High School.
He is survived by three sons, Corey Battle-Akron, OH, Hakeem Mustafaa-Palm Bay, FL and Kahlil Mustafaa-Tucker, GA, one brother Monte L Poole (Venetia), three aunts, Dolores Lewis, Willie Redding and Helen Wilson, two nieces Cheria and Mia Poole, and one nephew, Micah Poole, two first cousins Latosha Wilson-Huff and Vernelsia Washington, and a host of other cousins and loved ones.
Kareen (Carlos) loved sports, family and to make others laugh. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
