Karla E. Davidson

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Monday, August 8, 2011 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus, with Reverend Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Davidson will be from 4-6 pm, Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the funeral home.

A resident of Columbus, Georgia since 1957 Mrs. Davidson visited Britt David Baptist Church and was a former member of the Lions Club of Columbus and served as treasurer for several years. She was employed with Columbus Bank and Trust for nineteen years and with Barnett Bank for four years. Karla loved her children, grandchildren, working in the yard and traveling.

Survivors include her husband Jon V. Davidson, Jr., children, Sandra Price and her husband Tim, Patricia Page and her husband Randal, Joel Bingham and his wife Joy all of Cataula, Ga., Pam Brett and her husband Mark of Sharpsburg, GA., mother-in-law Nellie Davidson of Phenix City and nine grandchildren.
