Kathryn Ann (Roper) Brooks

Kathryn Ann (Rooper) Brooks, age 68, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020. Kathryn was born February 25, 1952 in Winchester, England, United Kingdom to Marie Louise Goucher Roper and Thomas M. Roper Sr.

Kathryn was married to Harold Brooks Sr. for over 30 years until his passing. She worked as a medical clerk at (Piedmont) Columbus Regional Hospital. She enjoyed being in the outdoors and spending time with friends. What she truly loved was her family and the time they spent together, especially her nine grandchildren.

Kathryn is survived by: her son, Gregory Brooks (Lauren); her sister, Jane Adams, her brother, Tom Adams (Ellen) and her sister-in-law, Laura Ovdenk (Pete); daugter Angela Kozee (Shane).

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Harold Edward Brooks Jr.; father Thomas M. Roper Sr. and mother Marie Louise Roper.

Kathryn is also survived by nine grandchildren, Cameron, Jaxson, Jayden-Ethen, Noah, Cole, Ella, Sawyer, Kingsley, Maddy, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends of the family that will cherish her memory.

Kathryn loved Stone Mountain Park, due to COVID 19 restrictions, the family will hold a private memorial there.
