Kathryn Ann Lavalle, 70, was born August 14, 1955, in Paris, Texas, and passed away June 16, 2026 in Columbus, Georgia surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Phenix City, Alabama. Kathryn will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence—gentle in spirit, kind-hearted in her ways, and compassionate toward others. Her life reflected devotion and steady faith, offered with quiet strength and grace.
A Christian by faith, Kathryn was a member of The Church of Columbus on Double Churches Road, where her faithful heart and caring nature found a meaningful home among her church family.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, Richard P. Lavallee; her sons, Jonathan D. Myers (Beth) and Stephen A. Myers (Adelle); her beloved daughter, Felicia K. Raby (Luke); her grandchildren, Mason, Ethan, William Jules, Zoee, and Sydney; her great grandchildren, Maverick, Ivy, Shaun and Aurora; and her siblings, Edith, Doris, Edward, and Ellen.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her son, Mark Vincent Bunkley; her father, Ernest Earl Flowers Sr.; her mother, Kathryn Densing Flowers; and her brother, Ernest Earl Flowers, II.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907, on June 21, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
