Kathy McCall Smith, age 58 of Clio, AL passed away at VistaCare Hospice in Columbus on January 27, 2011 from respiratory complications. Memorial services will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus on Monday, January 31, 2010 at 4:00 PM.
Mrs. Smith was born to the late William Luther McCall and Virginia Bryant McCall on January 31, 1952 in Columbus, GA. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Charles H. Smith.
Survivors include her four children, Kathryn Zuber of Phenix City, Charles Smith of Cullman, AL, Thomas Smith of Callaway, MD and Karyn Smith of Phenix City; seven grandchildren; a brother, Gordon McCall of Villa Rica, GA and her companion Don Medley of Clio, AL.
