Kenneth E. Armstrong

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 27, 2019, in Parkhill Cemetery with Chaplain Dan McMinn officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM, Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the funeral home.

Mr. Armstrong was born January 25, 1959 in Columbus, OH, son of William Franklin Armstrong and the late Betty Jo McCune Armstrong. He worked at Ft. Benning doing contract painting. Mr. Armstrong loved his family and known for being able to fix just about anything. His grandchildren called him “Poppy”, and he was their number one cheerleader at their sporting events. His spirit will be missed daily, but his memory will live forever in our hearts.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Donna Armstrong; one daughter, Tiffany Cloud and a granddaughter, Emma Southerland.

Survivors include his father, William Franklin Armstrong, Sr., and his wife, Wilda Jean; his daughter, Brittany Southerland and her husband, Bobby; five grandchildren, Taylor Southerland, Mackenzie Southerland, Allie Southerland, Zachary Cloud and Hunter Cloud; six sisters, Diana Holly, Debbie Morrison, Rosanna Smith, Patricia Simmons, Mary Watley, Catherine Rose; one brother, Billy Armstrong.
