Kenneth "Ken" B. Perry

Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Alabama at 10:00 AM CST Thursday, October 12, 2017 with Dr. Derek Staples officiating. A graveside service will then be held at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia at 4:00 EST with visitation for relatives and friends to follow.

Kenneth B. Perry was born in Clinton, Massachusetts November 20, 1937. He graduated from Bob Jones University and was Veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved his family, church and the outdoors. Baseball was his choice of sports to play. He was Deacon Emeritus of the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Alabama where he chose to serve and worship for many years. Mr. Perry was a former member of Second Baptist Church of Columbus, Georgia.

Mr. Perry is preceded in death by his two sons, David Kenneth Perry and Rusty Dale Perry, both formally of Jacksonville, Alabama.

Kenneth B. Perry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Myrna Yvonne Perry; his brother Richard E. Perry (Joan) of Brooklyn, Connecticut; mother-in-law, Minnie C. Balkcom of Columbus, Georgia; sister-in-law, Gloria Willett (Louie) of Columbus, Georgia; brother-in-law, Ronald W. Balkcom (Evaughn) of Montgomery, Alabama and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Memory of Kenneth B. Perry to the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Alabama.
