Kevin L. Shaw

A graveside service for Kevin will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the MS Foundation, www.nationalmssociety.org.

Kevin enjoyed the great outdoors, as a young man he enjoyed spending time with his dad deer hunting. He also loved any kind of racing. Kevin won the 1998 East Alabama Motor Speedway Track Championship and the 2000 Jimmy Thomas memorial Championship. His love for racing started at a young age with speed skating, BMX biking, and race cars. Kevin also loved to work on cars. He was a man with a heart of gold, he was very giving, compassionate, and caring. Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Lamar Shaw. Kevin is survived by his sister, Michelle Diederich (Dana), cousins: Jimmy "Jimbo" Shaw, Jennifer Shaw, and Craig Shaw; Trent (Caite) Barfield whom Kevin considered his son and numerous other family and friends.
