Kimberly Bryant Turnbull, 67, of Columbus Georgia passed away on Saturday August 20, 2022 at Columbus Hospice. Kimberly was born July 6, 1955 in Columbus, Georgia to Betty Ann Bryant and James R. Bryant, Jr. Kim was a graduate of Hardaway High School and began her career with the school system as a cafeteria attendant and then an aid on school buses before becoming full time mom and homemaker. She enjoyed taking road trips with her husband, Ken, to Auburn and Newman while never passing up an opportunity to stop at her favorite place: JoAnn’s Fabric store. She looked forward to Thursdays when she would gather with friends for sewing. Additionally, she took pride in her scrapbooking, only made better by the amazing group of women she met along the way. She found the most joy in spending time with her family. Kim never missed a single birthday, family outing, or get together. She enjoyed anything that let her spend time with the ones closest to her, such as being her daughters’ Brownie troop leader and softball team mom. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she spoiled them any way she could. Kim showed kindness each day of her life by taking care of anyone she came across with no judgement and a lot of love. She never knew a stranger- she would greet everyone with a smile.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ann Bryant; father, James R. Bryant, Jr. and brother, James “Jim” Roy Bryant III. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Terry Turnbull; daughters, Kimberly Ann Turnbull; Kristen Bryant (Nick) Burnham; grandchildren Palmer Avery Burnham and Payton Lilly Burnham; sisters, Dell (Charlie) King; Bea (Buddy) Miller; mother-in-law, Willa Graley; brother-in-law, Edward Kvietkus; sister-in-laws, Darlene Butler; Brenda Bryant; nieces, Mallory (Drew) Osborn; Caroline King; great niece, Kenzleigh Osbon; great nephew, Kylor Osbon; cousins, Dawn Braswell; Angie Coleman.
