Memorial services for Mrs. Slayton will be held at 3:30 pm, on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 6-8 pm, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Slayton was born December 30, 1971 in Columbus, Georgia. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Michael Slayton, her parents; Ron and June Rice, a daughter; Kinsley Slayton, a brother; Chuck (Jan) Rice of Quincy, FL., two sisters; Tammy (Chris) Garrison of Phenix City, AL., and Cathy (Perry) Anthony of Smyrna, TN., and several nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church building fund, 5122 Pierce Chapel Rd, Midland, GA 31820 in memory of Kristi Leigh Slayton.
