Lewis Boody L. Crawford

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 8, 2010 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Fred Woodall officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, March 7, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Crawford was born May 22, 1939 in Columbus, GA to the late Louis and Valdosta Lee Raborn Crawford. He was a simple man with simple pleasures, such as fishing, traveling, and Alabama football. Mr. Crawford loved being a jokester and always being on the go. We will miss his lively character, but his memory will live forever in our hearts.

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Linda Crawford of Columbus; one son, Kenny Crawford and his wife, Michele of Seymour, TN; two grandchildren, Kaley and Justin Crawford; one brother, Carlton Anglin and his wife, Shirley of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Kathleen Mailhiot and her husband, Bobby of Pittsview, AL and Ruby Coate of Phenix City, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
