Lilia P. Lezcano, age 85, of Columbus, GA passed away on September 14, 2019. A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 10:00 until 11:50 am and the funeral is at 11:00 am at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. Interment will be at Parkhill Cemetery.
Lilia was born on April 29, 1934, in Cienfuegos, Cuba. She married Adolfo Lezcano; they were married for 18 years. She was a daughter, sister, wife (a widow of 41 years), mother of two children, Al and Mimi; a grandmother of four granddaughters, Diani, Samara, Tarina, Stephanie; a great grandmother of four great granddaughters, Amelia, Ellie, Paige, Quinn; and one great grandson, James.
Lilia was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan; she loved getting out playing Bingo with family and friends, and enjoyed watching her Soap Operas on television. She enjoyed many things in her life, but what she loved the most was her family and the opportunity to love them and spend time with them.
