Linda Diann Clary, born in Columbus, Ga., passed to glory in the comfort of her home on July 28, 2015 in her hometown. Her husband Tommy Clary of Columbus Ga., two daughters, Dora Hall of Columbus, Ga. and Cheryl Sampson of Haines City, Fla., and her son Curt Ellis of Columbus Ga. survive her. Linda also carries the title of grandmother (Mimi) and great grandmother (Honey) to whom she loved dearly.
She spent most of her life running a janitorial business and took pride in what she did. Linda loved to go fishing and camping with her family. Every Sunday, you could find her attending service at River of Life Church, Hamilton, Ga. She concluded her life with the understanding of the joy found in helping those in need. Linda could be found praying and ministering to those in the infusion clinic at Amos Cancer Center and even to the staff that helped her treat her own cancer. Although she will be missed, she will always be remembered in the legacy of kingdom work she left behind for Jesus Christ.
There will be a visitation in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby on Saturday, August 1, 2015, 10-11 am. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be at 11:00 am with interment at Parkhill Cemetery, and will be facilitated by Pastor Dan Rogers. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate the money to the general fund at River of Life, Church of God at 8060 N US Highway 27, Hamilton, GA 31811.
