Linda was a lifelong resident of Columbus, where she built a life rooted in family, faith, and love. In recent years, she moved to Athens to be closer to her son.
Above all, Linda was a woman of deep faith. She held an unwavering belief in the unconditional love and saving grace of Jesus Christ, a faith that sustained her throughout her life and guided the way she cared for others. She found comfort, strength, and hope in her relationship with Christ, and she shared that love through her kindness, compassion, and devotion to her family.
Linda’s greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She loved her children fiercely and never missed an opportunity to tell them so. Her love was steadfast, unconditional, and remained a guiding force throughout their lives. She found special happiness in her grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. Whether celebrating milestones, sharing stories, or simply being together, she created memories that will be cherished forever.
Those who knew Linda will remember her caring heart, her enduring faith, and the way she made others feel loved and valued. Her family finds peace in the promise that she now rests in the presence of the Savior she trusted so completely throughout her life.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James C. Woodall, Sr., and her beloved son, James C. Woodall, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Neil Woodall, and his wife, Kendel; and their children, Art, Miles, and Anderson. She is also survived by the children of her late son, James C. Woodall, Jr.: Michael Woodall and his wife, Tyler, Cale Woodall, and Camille Woodall. Linda was blessed to become a great-grandmother and is survived by her great-grandson, Isaac James Woodall.
Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely and the faith she lived so faithfully will remain with her family always.
