Lisa was born on March 14, 1959 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Kelly. She graduated from Kendrick High School in Columbus, Georgia as the class of 1978. For the last year, she lived in Wetumpka with her sister Lynn and her brother-in-law Steve, and really loved it!
Lisa started work at Pike Road Family Eyecare in 2019 and she loved it there. She loved the people she worked with and the patients she gave care to. Before working at Pike Road, Lisa was employed with Lens Crafters for many years and before that several years at Sears Optical. She and her brother Randy followed their father into the optical business.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Elizabeth Kelly, brother Randy Kelly, and her niece Crystal Harper. Lisa had a love for dogs and treated them like her children, her many dogs now surround her in heaven. Her last and most favorite dog was Sammie, a Boston Terrier, who will miss her tremendously.
With a large family that is full of love, she is survived by her sister Lynn Martin (Steve) of Wetumpka, Alabama, her brother Richard Kelly of Palmetto, Florida, her nephews Chance Harper (Robin) of Wetumpka, Alabama and Masten Kelly of St. Petersburg, Florida, she is also survived by her step-nephews Scott Martin (Jenny), Tim Martin (Crystal), and Josh Martin, all of Wetumpka, Alabama, niece Lizzie Kelly of Northport, Florida. There are also her great-nephews Caleb Harper (Cassidy), Jaxon Harper, BK Kelly, Gentry Reynolds and Hudson Reynolds, great-great nephew Declan Harper, step-great-nephews Steven Martin, Cole Martin, Sam Martin, and Daniel Haney, and step-great nieces Amy Martin, Abby Martin, Alyssa Martin, Allison Martin, and Kaylin Martin.
A graveside service for Lisa will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM in Parkhill Cemetery, 4061 Macon Rd., Columbus, Georgia, 31907.
