Ms. McLendon was born in Richwood, West Virginia to her mother, the late Betty Wynn. She met and married her husband Kevin McLendon in Columbus, GA. and had a beautiful Daughter Jessica. She attended Baker High School where she earned her High School Diploma. After graduation, she began working for WLTZ 38 where she spent 8 years working in various positions. Upon leaving WLTZ 38 Lois spent many years in Food Service where she served countless customers over her career with a smile and cheerful attitude.
In her spare time Lois enjoyed spending time with her Daughter Jessica, watching her favorite TV show Walker, Texas Ranger and reading her beloved Stephen King novels. She also amassed quite the collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia. She loved her “Cullen Burgers” and Sunday dinner with the family in addition to her old VW Bug.
She will forever be known for being a strong woman whom taught her daughter to love hard, work hard, and always, always be strong. She will also be fondly remembered for her love of a good joke and being a kind, caring Aunt and friend.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Betty Wynn. Lois is survived her Daughter Jessica and her Fiancée Jonathan Justice (his daughters Autumn and Kailey Justice), previous husband and very special friend Kevin McLendon, Brother Cullen Wynn and wife Pam, very special family friends Logan and Madison Henderson, as well as many other cherished relatives and friends.
