M. Wayne White

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 3:00 pm, in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA, with Dr. Don Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, on Friday, May 1, 2015 in the Wildwood Room of Striffler-Hamby.

Mr. White was born on May 7, 1941 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Abner Morris White and Lessie Mae Johnson White. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy White Gable, a daughter, Terri Lynn White Carswell.

Mr. White was a graduate of Jordan High School class of 1959, and was retired from Bill Heard Chevrolet after 35 years of service.

Survivors include two sons, Matthew Sean White, and David Wayne White, a daughter, April Marie White, Sean and April’s mother, Rebecca Carol White, a brother, Steven White, nieces and nephews, Mike and Daryl Gable, Joseph R. Lewis, III, Jessica Jean Lewis, and Stephanie Taylor White, one granddaughter, Addie Marie White.
