Mablelene Rebecca Idle, 58, of Columbus GA, passed away at her home Thursday, March 5, 2015. She was born August 13, 1956 in Anderson SC to her late parents James and Mable Terry Clinkscales. Mablelene was a retired Educator who taught at Phenix Christian and Woodland Academy. Her passion was her family. She liked to read, and she loved to shop. The family will receive guest for visititation, Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the St Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. A Celebration of Mablenes' Life will be Monday, March 9, 2015 in The Chapel of the Pines in Parkhill Cemetery at 11:00 am. Pastor Tony Dickerson will officiate. Along with her parents Mrs. Idle is preceded in death by her brother; Roy James Clinkscales of Columbus, GA. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Larry Idle of Columbus, GA; her daughter Brandy Gentry (David Culpepper) of Ft. Mitchell, AL; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Jocelyn Randall of Ft.
