Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2011 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Julius Grimsley officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. McDaniel was born July 12, 1924 in Schley County, Georgia, daughter of the late Willie and Leola Hobbs. She worked in the cotton mills for many years in Columbus, GA and Thomaston, GA. We will miss her sweet spirit, but her memory will live forever in our hearts.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Alma Truluck and her husband, Joe of Americus, GA, and Myrtis Davis of Columbus, GA.; numerous nieces and nephews.
