Marcelle Bartlett passed away on June 22, 2026 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia. She will be remembered for her kind heart, quick wit, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room and a compassionate spirit that made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Marcelle’s generosity, warmth, and gentle guidance touched the lives of many, leaving behind countless cherished memories. She found joy in the simple moments, shared laughter freely, and loved deeply. She leaves behind her four beloved sons, John F. Bowden, Floyd L. Bowden, Raymond L. Millwood III and his wife Debbie, Michael W. Millwood and his wife Cindy who will continue to honor her memory. She also leaves behind numerous grand and great grandchildren that she loved deeply. As well as countless friends, her "family" at The Magnolia Manor and her church family. Though she will be greatly missed, her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
