Margaret Hendrix, 93, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Columbus, GA. Born in Arkansas in 1929, Margaret moved to Columbus, GA at a young age. She met and married Edwin D. (Doug) Hendrix in 1946. They had three children, Jerry, Pat and Ed.
After her husband’s death, she earned her GED. She then began in the Adult Education as a teacher’s aide. After retiring from Adult Education, she moved her home to Covenant Woods, where she was especially blessed by the friendship and help of her caregivers. Margaret was blessed with four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia King.
Graveside Service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery privately with immediate family.
