Margaret Tate

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Margaret Tate was born on July 3, 1925 in Dothan, Alabama. She retired from Bibb Manufacturing Company and was a member of Central Assembly of God in Columbus. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Mitchell Lee Tate and two sisters, Bessie Sorrell and Mary Ballard and one brother, Cleveland Thomaston.

Margaret Tate leaves behind three children; Annette Gore and her husband Donovan Gore of Phenix City, AL, Robin Cowell and her husband Bobby Cowell of Savannah, GA, and Charles Tate and his wife Cheryl Bedingfield Tate of Columbus, GA; five grandchildren, Michelle Langley of Seale, AL, Shannon Curtis and her husband Greg of Columbus, GA, Brad Tate of Phenix City, AL, Carson Tate of Columbus, GA and McKenzie Tate of Columbia, SC; two great-grandchildren, Tate Curtis and Sarah Curtis and Lily Curtis on the way.
