Marian Claire Lee

Graveside Services Will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 4th 2019 in Linwood Cemetery, Linwood Blvd, with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-4:00 PM Sunday, February 3rd in the St. Elmo Room at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Marian was born January 10, 1938 in Columbus, Georgia to Eloise Johnston Phillips and Marion Phillips. She was a 1956 graduate of Columbus High School, and was married on April 13, 1957 at First Baptist Church in Columbus. She was a very sweet and kind hearted lady with a very strong work ethic. She retired at 80 from Motherhood Maternity where she was Assistant Manager for 15 years. Marian will always be remembered as a sweet and gentle natured lady and great mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marian was preceded in death by: her husband, William Henry Lee IV; her parents, Marion Phillips and Eloise Johnston Phillips; and her brother Robert Michael Phillips. She is survived by; son William Henry Lee V of Columbus, GA; daughter Suzanne Claire Lee Jones and her husband Thomas Michael Jones, of Columbus, GA; son, Philip Michael Lee and his wife, Glenda Marie of Salem, AL; grandsons, Thomas Matthew Jones of Columbus, GA, and William Tyler Lee, of Salem, AL, and other family members and many friends.
