Mark Garland Chandler, 71, of Box Springs, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2025. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Morningside Baptist Church, 6065 Morningside Dr, Columbus, GA 31909.
Mark was born on June 18, 1954, in Nashville, Tennessee to Betty Duncan and John Chandler. He attended Vanderbilt University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics He furthered his education by attending Southern Seminary where he obtained a Masters in Divinity and Theology. A devoted Christian, he loved serving the Lord and spreading the message. He will be remembered as a faithful husband to his wife and loving father.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Betty and John Chandler. Survivors include his wife, Paula Chandler; his children, Joshua Chandler (Alexis), Stacie Davis (Don), and Barry Fulford as well as 7 grandchildren.
