Martha V. Bryant

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday May 27, 2011 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. Reverend Watson McKemie will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bryant was born July 20, 1918 in Rockmart, GA daughter of the late William Arthur Welch and Minnie Mae Farrer Welch and preceded in death by her husband Huey T. Bryant. She was a homemaker and a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Pat Moore and her husband John of LaGrange, GA, Peggy Culpepper and her husband Hayward of DeFuniak Springs, FL, her son, Tommy Bryant and his wife Mary Lou of Charleston, SC, 6 grandchildren, Joy Crouch, Shawna McIntosh, Bryan Culpepper Christopher Bryant, Matt Culpepper and Chris Sutton, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
