Jayne was born on August 16, 1951 in Columbus, Georgia; the daughter of Martha Yancey Johnston and Isaac Augustus Johnston. Jayne graduated from Chavala High School in Seale, Alabama. She was married to Michael Wynn Patrick on March 26, 1977. Jayne was a member of Cascade Hills Church. She loved her Bible study group and loved baking desserts to take for them to enjoy.
She had a kind heart and loved helping others by making meals to take to shut-ins and taking time to sit and visit with them. Jayne committed herself to saving the lives and providing care for animals. She volunteered at various animal rescues. She loved making beautiful flower arrangements and often left them on graves that no one was left to visit.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Wynn Patrick II and her parents, Martha and Isaac Johnston.
Survivors include: her husband, Michael Wynn Patrick; sister, Pamela Johnston Quillian, brother, Charles Russell Johnston (Vicki); and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Gracie, Emme, Kiki, Poppy and Maggie.
