Martha Phillips Weinmeister

A celebration of life will be 11:00 am, on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in the Mill Room

at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA, 31907. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in

the Mill Room with lite refreshments being served.

Mrs. Weinmeister was born on November 25, 1919 in Buena Vista, GA., to the late

Cleveland Phillips and Mattie McCorkle. In addition to her parents Mrs. Weinmeister

was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Karl Weinmeister. She was a member

of Edgewood Baptist Church, she enjoyed playing bridge, fishing, and a very outgoing

sociable person who never met a stranger.

Survivors include her daughter: Gail Weinmeister and her husband Raymond Lessard,

one son: Cleve Weinmeister, daughter-in-law Cheryl Weinmeister, one sister: Myra Wyrick,

two grandsons: Oscar Weinmeister (Amy) and Joseph Weinmeister (Michelle), and five great-grandchildren
