Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Columbus

Marvin H. Hagler, 91, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Columbus Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 10:00am with Pastor Jay Bailey officiating. All services will be held in the Edgewood Hall Chapel of Striffler-Hamby.

Marvin was born February 12, 1929 in Skipperville, AL, son of the late Joseph and Hattie Hagler. Mr. Hagler worked in sales for many companies in the surrounding area. He had a love for sports, his favorite teams were the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Georgia and Alabama Football.

Mr. Hagler was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Hagler. Survivors include one son, Harold H. Hagler; three grandchildren, Mark Hagler, Angelia Picard, and Jeff Hagler; five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
