Mary June Davis

Mary June Davis, age 86, of Columbus, GA passed away on Tuesday December 26, 2017. Mary was born March 4, 1931 to Mary Magalene Thornton Davis and Robert Eugene Davis. She resided in Phenix City, Alabama and for the last two years Mrs. June has presided in Columbus, Georgia at Brookside Glenn.

Mary is survived by; son James Godwin Davis III; daughter-in-law Le Ann Carvey Davis; daughter Martha Elaine Davis Linn; and son-in-law Phillip Linn; grandchild Mary Christine Davis, grandchild Jo Anna Davis and grandchild Susan Allison Linn Ostrand. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Mary was preceded in death by; father Robert Eugene Davis and mother Mary Magalene Thornton Davis; brother William Eugene Davis.

A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia. A graveside service will occur Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Riverdale Cemetery, Columbus, Georgia. A burial will occur Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Riverdale Cemetery, 1000 Victory Dr., Columbus, GA 31901.
