Mary Louise Rainer Koon March 16, 1933 - October 30, 2010 PHENIX CITY, AL — Mary Louise Rainer Koon, 77, of Phenix City passed away on October 30, 2010. She was born March 16, 1933 in Columbus, Georgia. "MeMa" lived her life in the Columbus area. She was a loving mother and beloved by all of her family and friends.
Funeral services for Mary will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Rainer; son, Steve Rainer; two brothers, Batlin Hinson and Joe Sheffield; six grandchildren, Scott Lane, Melissa Bowden, Jake Rainer, Chase Rainer, Kim Koon and Brian Koon; two great-grandchildren, Justin Lane and Kaylee Strickland; two step-sons, Ricky and Bobby Koon; and many nieces and nephews.
