Mary “Jill” Jeter McCain of Pike Road, Alabama, passed away on May 27, 2024. She was born in Enterprise, Alabama on August 14, 1928. She graduated from Coffee County High and Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn).
She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Charles Sidney McCain, her parents James Leo Jeter and Olive Rebekah Huey Jeter; her brothers: Jack Lovick Jeter and George William Jeter. She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her son, Charles Michael McCain (Barbara); her daughters: Rebekah Leigh Crenshaw, Mary Susan Oppel (Fred), and Dr. Sarah E. McCain; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
