Mary Strickland

Mary was born on March 28, 1952 to the late Eugene and Elizabeth Damren in Augusta, Maine. Mary married the love of her life, Timothy Strickland, and they were married for 48 years. She loved her 3 boys. She loved to laugh, make people laugh, and Mary never met a stranger. After retirement, she enjoyed bartending and playing bingo and keno in her free time, she also loved her dogs Princess and Rosie.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Elizabeth Damren, her husband, Timothy Strickland, as well as her brothers Mike and Jesse Damren.

Mary is survived by her sons Christopher Scott Strickland (Melissa), Rusty Strickland, J.P. Strickland (Christie), grandsons Allen, Evan, and Andrew, siblings Jean Damren, Linda Linogon (Mike), Irene Creel (Terry), Junior Damren (Pam), along with sister-in-law Shirley Strickland.

A graveside service for Mary will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd., Columbus, Georgia 31907.
